Visit Illinois best pumpkin patch located in Minooka Illinois. Heaps specializes in GIANT pumpkins Their largest pumpkin was grown in 2013, weighing in at 731.5 lbs!
Come join us for the fall season! We are located about 8 miles west of I-55 on US Highway 52 in Minooka, IL. Our family farm is open to the public each year from the second week of September through October 31st.
We raise corn, soybeans and over 90 different varieties of pumpkins, gourds and squash.
We proudly offer affordable fall, family fun at Heap’s! Admission is required to access all activities. However, if you wish to purchase pre-picked pumpkins, mums, straw, corn stalks and more, admission is not required!

Hours: 10:00am-6:30pm (closing at 2:30PM on Oct 31st)
Hay Rides to Pumpkin Patch on Weekends, also Fridays in October & Columbus Day.

When your family visits the farm, be sure to hang out with the farm animals, challenge your problem solving skills in the corn maze and bean maze, catch a hay ride out to the 25 acre pumpkin patch to pick your perfect pumpkin off the vine, play like a king or queen in Milo’s Castle Playground and have some good ole country fun in the Heaps O’ Fun Barn.
Make sure to stop in Linda Kay’s Craft Shop for fall décor (especially Linda’s famous centerpiece baskets) and tasty treats (especially the caramel apples… yum!) Oh, and don’t forget to grab one of our famous pork burgers or pumpkin cookies from Papa Heap’s Grill!
