Randall Oaks Zoo is geared up for our annual Winter Festival! The zoo is open Fri, Sat, Sun December 1^st to December 17^th from 12pm to 7pm. We have decorated the zoo in over 100,000 lights creating the ultimate holiday experience. Every Saturday & Sunday from 12pm to 5pm come visit with Santa’s real live Reindeer, get up close and pet them and get your picture taken. Santa is also available for pictures every Saturday and Sunday from 10am to 5pm, get a chance to visit and make sure he knows whether you’ve been naughty or nice. Thinking it’s going to be too cold? Warm up by our bonfire everyday from 2pm to 7pm and enjoy some S’mores while your keeping warm. From November 24^th to December 17^th 12pm to 7pm we have the freshest cut Christmas trees in town for sale, so visit the animals and get your tree in one stop with the family! Our Christmas Trees range from 4 feet to 7 feet tall and $45 to 60, all the money raised from Christmas Trees goes to support the zoo. Randall Oaks Zoo is a small family friendly zoo located in West Dundee within a 140 acre park with over 160 different animals. We offer a variety of kid friendly animals for viewing, a walk in petting zoo, and pony rides. Make new holiday traditions this season as Naper Settlement’s 12-acres is transformed into a winter wonderland. From Nov. 8 to Dec. 24, enjoy the sparkle of hand-made ornaments at Merry & Bright: Glass Ornaments from Around the Globe Exhibit. From Nov. 25 to Dec. 17, the Weed Ladies will be selling holiday floral arrangements.

Visitors can enjoy Naper Lights and Christkindlmarket, as it transforms the grounds into a sparkling outdoor German marketplace, from Thursday to Sunday, Nov. 25 to Dec. 24. Take a beautiful Martin Mitchell Mansion Holiday Tour from Nov. 26 to Dec. 18. Learn about Mrs. Claus’ past at History Speaks on Dec. 14. On Nov. 26 and Dec. 17, bring your children to Santa @ the Settlement.

The Christkindlmarket Naperville provides space for a vast array of vendors from Germany, other parts of Europe and around the world to showcase their products. Traditional wooden huts will be filled with a wonderland of one-of-a-kind gifts including hand-made holiday ornaments, woodcarvings, and seasonal wares harkening back to the original Christkindlesmarkt in Nuremburg, Germany which began in 1545. The air at the Christkindlmarket Naperville at Naper Settlement will fill the senses with aromas of German delicacies such as sausages and potato pancakes and sweet treats like Stollen, strudel and roasted nuts that are sure to delight visitors of all ages.

The Christkindlmarket Naperville will boast a large festival tent for additional seating and entertainment. Visitors can sit, toast and enjoy refreshing imported German beers or warm up with a cup of Glühwein (hot spiced wine) served in a unique collectable souvenir mug. Visitors will be delighted by live performances as singers, dancers and musicians will spread the holiday cheer. The Christkind, a fairy-like being and namesake of the market, will visit every Sunday to welcome guests.
